'Two and a Half Men' Star Angus T. Jones Doesn't Regret Leaving Show

You might remember him as Jake Harper, the young star in the sitcom "Two and a Half Men" and one of highest-paid teen actors in history, but actor Angus T. Jones has no regrets about walking away from stardom.

'I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn't okay with it, but I was still doing it.'

'The now-bearded 20-year-old said his life as a student at The University of Colorado and as a devout Christian is more enriching than his sitcom days,' GMA explains.

About a year after leaving the wildly popular show, Jones spoke candidly to KHOU about his new life and how he made his exit.

'If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men.''

'In hindsight he says, he could have approached it differently.'

'You know, that's his baby, and I just totally insulted his baby.'

Jones says he apologizes for insulting Chuck Lorre's creation, but otherwise he does not regret what he said.

Jones played his character Jake Harper for nearly 10 years, and reportedly earned somewhere around $300,000 per episode.

He's now attending college and also frequents World Harvest Outreach Church in Houston.

When he started the show, he was Not conscious or knowledgeable of what the true meanings of the sex comments meant. I am praying for this young man to have great success in his next avenue of Life. May God bless you and the others, who stand up for God.

I never watch the show, but he did work for the money (dissatisfied as he became) so he has a right to keep it. His exit could have been more graceful, but I applaud him for following his conscience.

I Stopped watching this show a long time ago too. It was getting really to inappropriate to watch any more there are no more morals in todays shows and you wonder where the youth of our country get it from. I am for comedy but a lot of shows are taking it to far on tv today. I don't care who is gay or not but I feel that I have to watch it on national tv. There are cable tv channels for those who want watch gay shows. I feel a lot of stuff is shoved in front of the publics face oday. That is why one of the ways this country is today and nobody cares but I do and will not watch these shows either against my beliefs.

Not bad change per episode to be humiliated on each showing. He did well and his new change in life appears to fulfill him. Good Luck!!

It is such a blessing to see one of our young adults standing up for their christian beliefs. Why should he give back the money, at least he is spending it on college instead of drugs. Maybe he has giving it to charity or to missions. No one knows but him and that's he's business. I say God Bless you and keep spreading the word. I just wish we had more young adult Christians to stand up because this world needs them.

I believe he has the right to do what he wants, I also believe he can because of all the money he made from that terrible show.
