You might remember him as Jake Harper, the young star in the sitcom "Two and a Half Men" and one of highest-paid teen actors in history, but actor Angus T. Jones has no regrets about walking away from stardom.
'I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn't okay with it, but I was still doing it.'
'The now-bearded 20-year-old said his life as a student at The University of Colorado and as a devout Christian is more enriching than his sitcom days,' GMA explains.
About a year after leaving the wildly popular show, Jones spoke candidly to KHOU about his new life and how he made his exit.
'If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men.''
'In hindsight he says, he could have approached it differently.'
'You know, that's his baby, and I just totally insulted his baby.'
Jones says he apologizes for insulting Chuck Lorre's creation, but otherwise he does not regret what he said.
Jones played his character Jake Harper for nearly 10 years, and reportedly earned somewhere around $300,000 per episode.
He's now attending college and also frequents World Harvest Outreach Church in Houston.
