Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin said Monday that he was troubled by comments that Brown made during his rehab stay in which the singer allegedly said he was good at using guns and knives.
The 24-year-old singer was arrested on Friday after he was dismissed from a Malibu facility where he was being treated for anger management and other issues.
Brown had been in rehab since November, when Brandlin ordered him to receive treatment as part of his sentence for a 2009 attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna.
Brown's attorney Mark Geragos asked that Brown be allowed to enter another rehab program, but Brandlin refused and set a probation violation hearing for April 23.

May I suggest a LOSER tattoo across your forehead.
put people who buy his crappy music in jail too.
Throw away the key
....and so, the Chris Brown fans all come to his defense again.........
I haven't seen a single post defending Brown, just many people tired of race being brought into the picture. Brown is an idiot and certainly a stain on the human race, but by no means the only one as they exist in all races.
I'm very concerned about Chris Brown's future. He is a time bomb, waiting to explode. When I read about him throwing a rock and breaking his mother's window, I knew the young man needed some serious help. He has had too many escapes from all of the dirt he has done, and nothing is being done about it. Where is his father? It seems like he would step in to talk some since into his child, who is rapidly headed for destruction. I'm a grandmother of a 26 year old young man. I can feel just what his grandparent, or grand parent's are going through. If he was my grandson, you better believe I would have some words for him. He has gone entirely too far. He is getting worst by the second. I really feel sorry for his poor mother, because her heart is heavy. Nobody want's to see their child in trouble, and I know she is wondering where she went wrong. Don't worry mom, I'm sure you raised Chris to the best of your ability. When a person get's grown, he or she is responsible for his or her actions. The person has to learn how to make the right choices. When there is no thinking before action, then there is the terrible mistake, that has been made. I will keep Chris Brown in my prayers, because prayer will change situations. I'm praying for his mom and family because I know it has taken a toll on them. Just believe, God is in control and I do know he will work it out for you. This might be something to save your son's life. Nobody knows but God. May God Bless and Keep You! Sincerely, A Concerned Grandmother!
Invoking "god" isn't realistic. Let this jerk remain in jail and hope that by the time he gets out he will have learned that you can't go around hitting people. Buying into the "god" theory is saying that the jerk's behavior is all "god's will" in the first place. No, the jerk brought it on himself.
Great post.....there's no cure for stupid.
Why do people with an I.Q. Over 15 buy into this guy?
He just needs to man up, 24 and acts like a child. Bi-polar diagnosis is not an excuse to continue bad behavior. You set down with a psych doctor, give the appropriate response and now you have a diagnosis. You are happy, Dr is happy, pharmacy is happy especially if you need two $25 pills a day for the rest of your life. Psych medicine is total bull ****. The judge is holding him accountable, that is the only thing that will save the Chris Browns in the world.
When the Judge gives you a way out and then you blow it ... jail is where you need to be. Brown thinks he is above it all and does not recognize that he is a ticking bomb. To be in the trouble he is in and not be able to coast through a stint in rehab to minimize his sentence ... well, that says it all. It is a possibility that he will always represent a threat to those around him. The Judge made the right decision.
IF THIS IS SO TRUE THEN WHY AREN'T LINDSEY LOHAN OR CHARLIE SHEEN IN JAIL? JUDGES HAVE GIVEN THEM A MILLION CHANCES AND THEY KEEP BLOWING THEIR WAY OUTS. LIKE I SAID BEFORE IF RHIANNA WAS SHA'KEMA HIS CAREER AND FREEDOM WOULD BE ON CLOUD 9 AND NOT IN JAIL OR REHAB B/C NO ONE WOULD CARE; SHE'D BE JUST ANOTHER BLACK GIRL. SMH!!!.......JENNY JONES!!!
I work in rehab and you wouldn't believe how many come in thinking that treatment is easier than jail. Wrong! We have had clients leave and would rather finish their time in jail. This does not fix the problem however. He is a grown man and knows the difference from right and wrong. You do the crime - you do the time.
Just another person who was never taught to respect others by his parents....
person? dont u mean idiot?
