Soldier surprises wife at hockey game

Soldier Surprises Wife at Hockey Game

Hockey fans in Minnesota witnessed a heartwarming homecoming Tuesday night when a soldier returned from Afghanistan. "Fox & Friends" has more.

KMSP reports Jamie Jenn thought she was being called down from the crowd to answer a trivia question about a hockey player.

After the surprise, KARE talked to the family about the reunion.

'I felt like one of those people on TV from the coming home TV show. It was just crazy. I never expected anything like that.'

'Great. It was perfect. Couldn't have said more.'

WCCO adds that Jamie's husband, Nicholas, had been in Kuwait for six months on his third tour. His time at home will be brief, though. He will head overseas again in about two weeks.

Even though Jamie's favorite team (the Minnesota Wild) lost, we're sure she doesn't even mind and is enjoying her reunion.

Am so glad to our troups come home to these kind of just awsome welcome & it's so heartwarming
to see. Un like me 1964 - 1968 we were told not to wear our uniform while traveling home because
we would not be well come out there during traveling home! As a Viet Nam Vet i was proud to serve
my country but i had to hid it. This is the first i have even told my fellow country folks. I was drafted & i had a job to do!!! I still don't hold any ill feelings but very happy to how things our
soldiers return to open armes, Thank You USA, namvet6468 out ...!

Any one that did not enjoy this story apparently has not served their country. Our military and their families make tremendous sacrifices and deserve all the recognition and appreciation we can give them.
