'The Voice' returned for season six -- and 17-year-old Jake Worthington returned from season five.

Jake auditioned last year and, sadly, no one turned a chair for him. But, apparently, he took notes because he wowed them this year -- so much so that things got heated between Blake and Shakira.

"She's a crappy coach, but she is the perfect woman," he added.

"I'm not crappy coach. Don't be mean. I'm good," Shakira said, seeming genuinely offended.

The obviously overwhelmed Jake was a gentleman -- he told Shakira that she's perfect before picking Blake as his coach -- but for Worthington, Blake was the obvious choice.

'Coach Blake could honestly start reading the ingredients on a Lunchables container and Jake still would have picked him, because country singers are more predictable than Karen Smith's boobs,' said TV Recap's Marc Snetiker.
