Raymond Felton Arrested: Knicks Player Faces 3 Gun Charges

Knicks Felton Arrested On Weapons Charges

NEW YORK (AP) - New York police say Knicks player Raymond Felton has been arrested on three counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Sgt. Thomas Antonetti says Felton turned himself in at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday and was questioned in the 20th Precinct in Manhattan, hours after his team lost at home to the Dallas Mavericks.

The sergeant says the charges don't stem from him using the firearm in a menacing manner but of possessing a gun he wasn't registered to have.

Antonetti says the 29-year-old is now under the purview of the court system and will face a hearing sometime Tuesday. The charges include criminal possession of a weapon in the second, third and fourth degrees.

Lock him up and throw the key away. Felton is a fool. Of course he may very well skate as he will be portrayed as unknowing, a really nice guy,(unless of course he shoots you), and pays most of his child support.

Another criminally overpaid athlete who thinks laws do not apply to him.

Any person braking the law is wrong it does not matter what color you are! people who give a .opinion should be more objective then racist! several basketball players have gotten in trouble during there career, and have lived with the aftermath. It does not matter about how much money they have.

I'm old enough to remember when our government used to acknowledge that we had a Second Amendment to our Constitution.

Read the Constitution some time.
Funny that a person who doesn't understand how to use the shift or caps lock keys calls other people names.

Funny how the meaning of the words "the right of the PEOPLE to keep and BEAR arms shall NOT BE INFRINGED" seems to have changed so much over the years. NYC has made it nearly impossible for a law abiding citizen to legally "bear arms." And yet they and the courts get away with it....

If you can remember when you didn't have to register a handgun in most states in order to carry it on you or in your vehicle..... well..... Actually you're lying

Sorry, but most states to this very day do not require to register your handgun prior to carrying it on either your person or in your vehicle. While a good number do require that the person carrying the handgun have a license or permit, only 9 states and the District of Columbia currently require registration of handguns. Ignorance is not bliss, ignorance is just ignorance.

I have a permit to carry...it's for me, not the firearms. My firearms are NOT registered, nor do they need to be. We love our freedoms here in the West.
