Facts about Coca-Cola you may not know

The Truth About Coca-Cola Every Coke Drinker Should Know

Here are some facts that Coca-Cola drinkers will want to know (and may potentially be freaked out by).

*America's favorite drink originally contained cocaine and was alcoholic. John Pemberton, the inventor of coke, was a pharmacist who invented many drugs. However, he never made any money in pharmaceuticals.

*The Coca-Cola brand is worth more than $74 billion dollars. That's more than Budweiser, Pepsi, Starbucks & Redbull combined!

*94 percent of the world's population recognizes Coca-Cola. It's the second most understood term in the world, behind "OK."

*The modern image of Santa was embedded in our culture by coke through years of advertising.

*Coca-Cola originally claimed that it had health benefits and medicinal properties because it contained cocaine. Cocaine was later removed in 1903 and substituted with caffeine as the primary stimulant.

*You may be allergic to Coke and not know it because they are not obligated by law to reveal its "secret ingredient." Coke's recipe is in the Sun Trust bank in Atlanta, Georgia. Only 2 executives have access to the vault.

*According to Warren Buffet, Coca-Cola has no taste memory. So just like water, you will never get sick of it.

*Coca-Cola also invented the 6 pack to encourage people to drink Coke more often.

I find it interesting that while the federal government demands to know what is in other products they let Coca-Cola hide one ingredient. How is that protecting the American public when thi drink has been accused of so many negative benefits like teeth damage and other problems.

Any highly carbonated beverage will damage teeth idiot. The only thing Coke has done for me was the aquisition of two new Corvettes, a summer home in Maine and a beautiful home in Longmeadow Massachusetts. Paid for in cash through Coca Cola dividends. Compliments from the company who allegedly according to your buffoon thinking, created tooth decay!

I petition they put cocaine back into the receipe. When Coca Cola had cocaine in it, our society drank it, we were peaceful ,loving and productive. Crime was not much of an issue at that time either so the so called 'researchers/scientists', etc can not use their worn out speech of cocaine causing increase crime , addiction, etc. Again, I say replace the cocaine in coca cola and you will see a happier & more productive society not to meniton a soar in coca cola sales.

If you were truly allergic to Coca cola, your body would have a reaction and you would know it almost immediately. What you wouldn't know is the ingredient (secret or otherwise) that was causing that reaction. The recipe for Coke was always a well guarded secret. Who writes these headlines anyway?

If coke does cause allergies. Doctors treating you need to know what the ingredients that cause the reaction. What are the symptoms of an allergy reaction to Coke ? Is this a medically documented problem?

Supposedly, the cola nut contribute very little to the taste of Coke or other colas. th either ingredients contribute much more to the taste. In the case of Coke, the most popular rumor is that the secret ingredient is still some kind of coca extract , but in a denatured form that does not contain the active stimulant.
