Top 3 Misbehaving Animals Of The Week

You would think just a week after Valentine's Day, animals would still be feeling the love, but sadly that's not the case. From a bunny 'stampede' to a turkey terrorizing visitors at a gas station, here's our top three misbehaving animals of the week.

In our No. 3 spot, a stampede of bunnies decided to chase down a woman who had offered them some food. The cutest stampede ever happened on an island off of Japan nicknamed 'Rabbit Island.'

During World War II, the Japanese Imperial Army manufactured more than 6,000 tons of poison gas on the island. Daily Mail says at some point, the rabbits were brought to the island to be used as test subjects for the poison. Nowadays, the island is full of the creatures: 300 bunnies, to be exact.

Coming in at No. 2 is a 9-foot-long alligator that's hiding out in a sewer drain by a Florida country club. Apparently there's a large retention pond nearby, so seeing an alligator moving through the pipes isn't unusual. But that doesn't stop residents from being concerned.

Crews say the alligator is slowly making its way out of the storm drain. Meanwhile, they are still trying to determine a plan of action to manually get it out.

Our No. 1 misbehaving animal is a turkey who's decided to make its home at a Pennsylvania gas station.

The turkey has been hanging around for weeks and has quickly learned that if she causes trouble, she'll get a treat.

"Now, when the bird makes its way inside, they have to chase it back out. But when it doesn't work, they give the bird a favorite treat to calm her down. Apparently, she's quite fond of Ho-Hos.' WPSG reports.

Hey, we'd stick around for Ho-Hos, too!

Well-written amusing article. One interesting note...a population of only 300 bunnies on the island
since end of WWII?

When you feed wild animals and they want more food they become very agressive. Turkeys are large birds and have long sharp nails on their feet, they can hurt people. DO NOT FEED WILD ANIMALS!

I put out seed for the wild turkeys--two years ago--there had to be 30 of them and when I'd go out--they all would run towards me -- but not aggressively -- this group--they head for the woods -- stand still (like I can't still see them) and wait until I go back to the house. I've been doing this for years without incident. I did watch a documentary on a guy who lived with a group of wild turkeys and all but two took off--the female was killed by a fox and the guy, while walking with the male--turned just in time to see the male come flying at him--he had to beat him off with a stick--I figured it was a male thing -- and being female--these birds know I'm not any threat.

on the alligator to get out of the pipe....tie a thawed chicken that you get from a store...with a rope...and dangle it in front of the pipe...the alligator will follow you any where ...as long as you run fast enough to where it doesn't catch you LOL

Sorry I think GETTY REALTY should be the misbehaving rabid animal of the week, year, decade. Ask the manager of that station , I am sure he would rather a hundred alligators if he could get the theives from Getty off his back.
