We (most United States citizens) take our freedoms so lightly. We forget that our history was built on the backs of those that died to form our country. I hope and pray that some kind of peaceful resolution that can ensure the end of all violence in the Ukraine. Also, that their citizens feel they have a fair and balanced government free from corruption.

I have two comments. First, I have spent a fair bit of time in Eastern Ukraine. While they do speak more Russian than Ukrainian, I never met anyone I thought was pro-Russia. Every person I met was very friendly, liked Americans, and seemed to be generally pro Western. Second, we have a serious problem because Mr. Obama has already demonstrated that he will not back up his words with action. Why should Mr. Putin pay any attention at all when Mr. Obama has already been shown to be a toothless tiger?

Scary as this is it may be coming to a nation near you if we cannot stop the planned decline of our economy and continue to hire leaders who forget who they are working for or that we have a constitution and are supposed to be ruled by law, not by a Potentate.

It's not our problem we have went to war to free countries we have spent trillions of dollars to help other countries and they still do not like us but they have no problem taking our money. The time has come in this country that we take care of our problems first plus our debt is off the wall and Obama keeps spending. Wake up America

People who advocate "Gun Control" should be paying special attention to what is happening there. Your argument, that revolt will never happen here, doesn't deserve merit. What ever it is, that possess people to be submissive to their leaders is a false security, ripe for tyranny. A society composed of armed citizens have much less to fear, and democracy blossoms!

Sounds like the begiining of a civil war! Funny how when a government doesn't do what the people want and they rise up against the government they are suddenly terrorist's. Thats the new name for rebels, freedom fighters & even patriots.

idiotic comment.. he's threatening the communists (aka Putin who's still stuck in corrupt Soviet style leadership) and he's supporting the west loving protesters (as well as most of Europe is).

EVERYONE MUST FIGHT FOR FREEDOM. We greeks fought from 1953 whn all the turks beheaded all the greek chrisians in Konstandinoupolis, all the way to to 1974 and we did not give up. In the end we won, but look at greece now. They are under bunkrptcy and what they do about it? nothinh.

It's really is disgusting to see the things that are going on at this day and age in the world, us human have become auto destructive, with no respect from one to another, the politicians in the entire world are the ones responssible and be blamed for all of what's going on including us the USA, we don't even care about the middle declining class as well as the people that are getting older losing their jobs and not being able to replace their jobs losing their roofs and going hungry every day, We're in such deep mess and still getting deeper and deeper every day, a word to the political leaders, live and let live, to hell with the liberals, democrats, socialist and communist bustards and be more conservative.
For the people in Kiev, pull back before the government kill you all, just go on strike, till the forces pull back.
