Body found in wheel well of plane at Dulles Airport

Body Found In Wheel Well Of Plane At Dulles Airport
An unidentified man's body was discovered Saturday in the wheel well of a plane parked at Dulles International Airport in Virginia.

"Police tell us this was a South African Airways jet that was parked now in a remote part of the airport. Grounds crews found the body this afternoon."

Airport authorities say the male body was recovered from the landing gear of an Airbus A340 belonging to South African Airways. The flight arrived in Dulles Wednesday.

According to South African Airways, the plane initially departed from Johannesburg and made one stop in Dakar, Senegal before arriving in the U.S. It's still unclear when the body got into the wheel well of the plane.

In a statement reprinted in the Daily Mail, a spokesperson for South African Airways said, "We regret any loss of human life and are deeply concerned about the suspicious circumstances surrounding this incident."

Authorities say the discovery of the body did not disrupt the airport's normal operation. The Fairfax County medical examiner's office is currently investigating the incident.

Before every one feels bad for this guy wait and see what he was wearing and any one can identify him. It really could be a terrorist or a terrorist on a trial run to see if he would get caught in the wheel well before take off. Now the terrorists know they can slide in a Planes wheel well with out being seen which is all they care about. A terrorist is willing to give his life up just to know if this works.

Why has no one considered the man may have crawled in there while it was American soil? Prehaps to get in out of bad weather?

Anyone so stupid as to stowaway in the wheel well of a jet airliner deserves such a dire fate. Regardless of motive desperation, One WILL NOT survive the lack of oxygen and minus zero temperatures, made far worse traveling nearly 600 miles per hour at 30,000 feet altitude. Oh well, the world is less one more fool. Possibly who is to say the body was not planted there to hide deeds of an earlier murder

He was probably attempting to enter the United States illegally. I'm shocked they found him in one piece as there have been previous incidents where the body has been crushed to pieces.

Even if he was able to make into the landing gear space, some planes can fly as high as 50,000 feet and can reach temperatures of -100 degrees Fahrenheit.

This poor guy had no chance whatsoever.
