It's spring somewhere; MLB camps open



While the eastern U.S. shovels out from yet another snowstorm, they're breaking out the bats and balls in Florida and Arizona. All 30 Major League Baseball teams will have opened spring training camp by the time the weekend is over.

It was 31 in degrees here in North central FL yesterday morning, warmer today but again overcast ... we just got out of a long cold rain spell ....

Yes better than all that snow but miserable is miserable whether it's white or wet .....

I didnt know we got so much snow in New york in the 1995 -1996 winter season, must have been cause I was in high school.

It was 85F and cloudless here in Phoenix yesterday, and it could hit 89-90F today.

However, there's a price for the great winter weather.

And that means an occasional 115F--or hotter-- in June.
