Woman cries tears of joy after surprise makeover

Woman Cries Tears of Joy After Surprise Makeover

Ann Delano, 51, wanted a polished new look as she hunts for a job ... and she certainly got it thanks to Kathie Lee and Hoda. Delano landed a makeover on the weekly 'ambush makeover' segment, and her transformation was amazing.

She had trouble holding back the tears when she saw how much younger she looked. Her friends were in awe, too.

Stylist Louis Licari was responsible for Delano's beautiful new look.

Delano said she already has an interview set up. We wish her the best of luck!

That is one hot babe, both before and after.
But I have to disagree about looking 10 years younger. If you didn't print her age I'd say early-mid 30's tops !!!
Congrats.

I am so happy for this lovely lady! I think Kathie Lee and Hoda are great ladies. I think Kathie Lee has become so down to earth since she is on the Today Show. I hope if I am ever in New York as I am looking for a job as my husband is on dialysis and we are trying for a kidney transplant. I would love him to retire so he could rest his body. SO KATHIE LEE AND HODA..............IF YOU SEE ME GRAB ME AND GIVE ME A MAKE OVER, AND PERHAPS A JOB. I AM AN EXCELLENT WRITER, AND HAVE A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. I AM ALSO RELATED TO THE FUNNY MAN J.F.

Lillian Nugnes, Massapequa, New York...............I was always a great dresser and I miss that!

Fantastic. It is true that very long hair ages a woman once she reaches her 40s, but even more aging is glasses. This is the best makeover I've seen in a long, long time.

The most aging is the gray, limp hair & no makeup. I am 6 years old & have long hair---and I also wear glasses occasionally (wear contacts most of the time). My hair is not gray & limp & flat----it is long & blonde. My glasses also complement my face. You must put in a little effort into looking good & not make yourself look old. Taking care of your skin is very important as you age. Moisturizing & the daily use of retinoids work wonders for aging skin. You're not going to look good if you roll out of bed, brush your teeth, wash your face with soap & put your glasses on. It takes a little effort & some time----even as this woman has been made over, she still isn't going to be able to roll out of bed & look like that. She's going to have to blow out her hair, put on some makeup & wear nicer clothes. Of course, when you're just home & aren't going anywhere, it's not necessary to get all done up. But, I would never go out in public the way she did, looking like that!!

What I don't understand is why aging women still try to wear long hair.. Their faces are aging and the hair accentuates and "pulls" their features even more towards the ground.. and she obviously doesn't do much with it. The scraggly look doesn't do well on older women.

Aging women? The only women who aren't aging are dead women. The scraggly look doesn't go well with anyone really. That said, I hope she can keep up the maintenance.
