Philip Seymour Hoffman Diaries Reportedly Describe Love Triangle

Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman's funeral was just last week, but already tawdry reports about a private diary may unravel his personal life. New York City police apparently uncovered diaries belonging to the late actor when they searched his apartment after his death. He apparently wrote about his struggles with addiction. Perhaps the biggest bombshell; The Daily Mail is focusing on a reported love triangle revealed in the diaries. Allegedly, Hoffman was torn between his longtime partner, Mimi O'Donnell, and another woman at the time of his death. The diaries also reveal his struggle with addiction and hint at the fact that another woman was behind the actor's split from Mimi O'Donnell.

Private diaries are just that aren't they?? I mean whose business is it other than perhaps his partner of many years. Maybe a woman was part of reason he left longtime partner...No Kidding!! Isn't there always a SNAKE IN THE GRASS???

why write a private diary? Did he need to remind himself if he forgot what happened? Or Perhaps he wanted to leae a memoir since whatever happened to HIM would be fascinating to everyone else.

as long as $ is involved u will see unscrupulous behavior....only way to teach a lesson is to turn the tables on those who take liberties at the expense of others!

Can we get over the drug-induced death of a drug addicted middle aged supporting actor, with maybe half a dozen memorable roles to his credit, and move on to something of importance?

Why drag all of this out into the open? Leave the poor dead man in peace and his "family" alone. No one is served by talking about this. All that is done is to damage to his reputation and hurting those who loved him with nothing to gain.

After perusing some of the comments here, I'm shocked at the arrogance and mean-spirited judgmentalism people feel free to let flow off the keyboard when the deceased, vulnerable human being they're attacking simply happened to have been a celebrity. What if your life's secrets are paraded across the internet when you die? Should we all point and criticize?

there is only one God, and his name is Death, and he comes for everyone, even the arrogant, mean-spirited and judgmental. and if their Christian God exists, He will judge them most harshly...so don't fret yourself. they will get theirs in the end.

Why is this private information even being leaked by the police. This is just crappy. This man has three small children and this will forever be on peoples minds. It had nothing to do with his buying heroin than night and should be left private. Somebody should loose their job over this.

I cant agree more..shameful..in a world where the smallest secret is exposed..id like to see a law protecting peoples personal lives with severe penalties to those involved or someone should turn the tables on them and their familys privacy!!!...They wouldn't like it one bit!

The media couldn't leave his children alone especially during the funeral. Where are the protesters for that?

People should just mind there own business. Everyone has some secret. Let this man RIP and stop all the media about a great actor who was just going through a difficult time and could not cope. There are 1000's of people out there that die everyday from drug abuse. Just because he is an actor the whole world does not need to know...Really

Can't we leave him alone now please? So tacky to talk about someone's private diary!

I know, what are you people thinking, that is his private diaries, and should remain so, Get a Life of your own instead of someone else's. RIP Mr Hoffman!
