Arthur Chu has sparked buzz across the nation with his unorthodox strategy on 'Jeopardy!': immediately buzzing in for every question and jumping across the board. He's been called a 'mad villain' for searching out Daily Doubles and going for the last question in a category simply to ensure that his fellow contestants can't double their luck or get big bucks.

Arthur Chu talked to 'Fox & Friends' about why there's been so much outrage over a game theory approach he says is not new.

'The first person to play like I do was Chuck Forrest who was the champion back in 1985,' he said.
'I think it's really that we live in the Twitter age.'

Chu (@Arthur_affect) is VERY active on Twitter, tweeting at least twenty times a day. He responds to fans and haters, and also comments on his TV appearances.

Although he's gotten a lot of negative comments about his strategy via Twitter, Arthur doesn't seem fazed.

'I don't get paid for making people on Twitter happy. I get paid for winning the game,' he said.

His performance might be polarizing on social media, but how does 'Jeopardy!' host Alex Trebek feel about Chu?

'It's hard to tell with Alex. He's a total game show pro,' Chu said about famously unflappable Trebek.

Whether you're a Chu fan or not, he's definitely getting his 15 minutes of fame. When his run on 'Jeopardy!' is over, he hopes to get opportunities in other fields.

The 30-year-old is an insurance compliance analyst by day, but according to his website, Chu is also a stand-up comedian, actor, Shakespearean actor, improviser, tour guide, genius and voice-over actor.

If the opportunities don't roll in, we're guessing the money he's won from the game -- more than $100,000 -- will be a nice consolation prize.
