NFL wives put competition aside for breakfast at Tiffany's

The biggest weekend in football doesn't just put the pressure on the players, but also their families. There's no one in the world under more stress than a family member in the stands watching a loved one in tight competition. And DEFINITELY no one more on the edge of her seat than a player's wife.

The ladies of the NFL gathered together at Tiffany's for a breakfast to put aside their rivalries and enjoy some morning of breakfast and mimosas.

NFL Wives Gather For Brunch At Tiffany's

Football players' wives may not be on the field, but they're always in the spotlight. Take a look at these NFL stars' gorgeous ladies.

I remember once being in the kitchen of a lady trained at Cordon Bleu. Her husband was in the State Dept. On her bookshelf of cookbooks was one with recipes from Redskins' players' wives. She said it was full of redneck recipes not worth looking at. So I cannot imagine how NFL wives fit in at Tiffany.

Clearly you haven't done your homework on Russell Wilson and his wife Ashton. Ashton would be perfectly at home at Tiffany's. Born with a silver spoon.

Hey, they don't hate each other! Well, maybe one or two here and there. And that is because of the A*********e down on the field.

Really there is no one else in the world under more stress??? How about the military families who are seperated, or people who have lost their jobs and can't support their families, or someone dealing with a deadly illness? I could go on but surely you get what I am trying to say here.

I agree. Sure, the men could get hurt, but they are putting their health and lives on the line to play a GAME. They do it for money, and fame. Sailors, Marines, Soldiers, Coasties & Airmen get paid, but that isn't their main motivator. I have yet to meet a Vet (active duty, prior, or retired) who didn't have the core of patriotism and service to their country. Even without a war, many of their jobs are dangerous. Separations from family, frequent moves, budget restrictions making their jobs more difficult and affecting the care of their families (health care IS impacted by furlough because many employees in military health care are civilians), budget cuts impacting DoDDS schools and MWR which provides the fun activities that most civilian communities have (youth sports, movies, ballparks, playgrounds). The military is not paid adequately for the service they provide the US.

My prediction for the SALAD BOWL is for the Carolina Hurricans to beat the Miami Heat in 12 innings with a score of -116 to 38. LOL

They'll never have the same class that Audrey Hepburn had.

Of course the chances for the wives to be on par with the depicted K.H. are rather slim, but at least they are not sitting with the crazed and bored low brow populace wasting time watching, well not even a game, one of the most ridiculous, dumb, worthless spectacles humans have ever conceived.

They may not be the most sophisticated, intellectually engaged group, however in this case I must commend them to chose stupid shopping as a more intelligent form of passing time.
