He didn't mess it up. The Ref forgot to ask the teams to call the toss. Lay off Joe. He was great!

True Again. It was the Ref fault.

Really, it was not Namath. The Ref displayed the coin, explained heads and tails and handed the coin to Namath, then the Ref backed up out of the way to allow Namath to flip it. The Ref realized his error and jumped back in catching the coin then as Seattle call and then back ed out of the way AGAIN. Sorry, Broadway Joe is innocent of all charges.....

Look again--that is a coyote fur coat with a fox collar! It doesn't look anything like mink.

He looks warm, maybe he has had the coat for years before PETA went berserk. Should he just keep it in a closet then? Tell us PETA what we should do with our old furs? Doesn't matter I won't listen.

Oh leave him alone! He was great once and never made too big a fool out of himself as I remember, and these days that's a Big deal. I love his jacket but would never want to go to a place where you'd need to wear one! How old is he anyway? Still love you Joe!

Joe's age? Well, he was born May 31, 1943. So, if my math is correct, he is now 70 years old.

Brillant point! It warmed my heart to see Broadway Joe back on the sidelines in his coat! Do they have to take everything away???

Well, in the photo we have Phil Simms and a referee. Which one do you suggest he kiss?

Just like the media to botch something. The REF screwed it up, just like they screw up calls in games. If YOU were handed the coin, you'd have tossed to too.

I know I would toss it so high that they would not find it until the game was over.
