Chris Christie booed off stage at Super Bowl event

Chris Christie Booed at Times Square Super Bowl Event

It's been a rough couple of weeks for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
That's booing you hear in the background. Christie was at an event in Times Square Saturday celebrating next year's Super Bowl which will be held in Arizona. By KYW-TV's count, the embattled governor only spoke for about 30 seconds and rushed off the stage without taking questions.

All that just just one day after news broke that one of Christie's former political appointees at the Port Authority was suggesting the governor knew about purposeful lane closures on the George Washington Bridge.
Allegations that have dogged his administration since they were first reported. Christie has repeatedly denied involvement.

So you could say the sampling of boos from the crowd at Times Square Saturday might indicate the governor's still got some work to do to convince his critics.

I have used the GW bridge almost all my working years and it has ALLWAYS been a nightmare! The people in charge have no regard for the motorist and do just as they please regardless of the consequences. They used to close the PPP entrance (S/B) as much as a half-hour before their scheduled time of 11PM - forcing me through Ft. Lee and mind boggling traffic even at that time of night! When I wrote them about it I received a reply that was full of statistics and if you were not a graduate of MIT, you would have a hard time with it. I was even invited to attend a FORUM so I could voice my opinion.
The Port Authority, in general, does not serve the public - they seem to forget what they are there for!

It seems like Republicans are in season right now. Not that I think that is appropriate. Let's wait for the truth to come out!
