Chris Christie booed off stage at Super Bowl event

Chris Christie Booed at Times Square Super Bowl Event

It's been a rough couple of weeks for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
That's booing you hear in the background. Christie was at an event in Times Square Saturday celebrating next year's Super Bowl which will be held in Arizona. By KYW-TV's count, the embattled governor only spoke for about 30 seconds and rushed off the stage without taking questions.

All that just just one day after news broke that one of Christie's former political appointees at the Port Authority was suggesting the governor knew about purposeful lane closures on the George Washington Bridge.
Allegations that have dogged his administration since they were first reported. Christie has repeatedly denied involvement.

So you could say the sampling of boos from the crowd at Times Square Saturday might indicate the governor's still got some work to do to convince his critics.

And you think that will make what he did go away? It's a done deal, when you commit the crime you must pay the time!

It's a shame . He said in an interview a few weeks ago the key to being a good leader is surround yourself with people smarter than you are . Whoops

At the very least, he created a conducive environment for his staff to plan for this dangerous event. His staffers are not renegades or fools. His upper staffers carefully put this together. They believed based on the tenor of his style of governing that this would be seen as appropriate. And, we will learn if he put his stamp of approval on it too. What's sad is that he handled, or I should say, I believe he handled, Storm Sandy so well. His rough and tumble style of interacting got the best of him.

Storm Sandy? That was a Photo Op for Christie. Just what did he do to help those people ? He gave them a whole lot of big fat lip service. Obama took advantage at the same time as the two of them pranced together arm in arm with promises, promises, promises. The two, deserve each other.

And where else should he have been booed? In Florida? Alabama? Arizona? He was booed by people who are paying attention in New York and New Jersey. What planet are you on, Mongo?

The bridge business is very serious, but there is so much more. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes. His future is looking grim. No, not that Grimm, his future is even more predictable. Bye-bye, Mike.

Welcome to the cutthroat business of politics. If you are running for President this is only the beginning. Remember Bill Clinton over a BJ. This is a bad business.
