Chris Christie booed off stage at Super Bowl event

Chris Christie Booed at Times Square Super Bowl Event

It's been a rough couple of weeks for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
That's booing you hear in the background. Christie was at an event in Times Square Saturday celebrating next year's Super Bowl which will be held in Arizona. By KYW-TV's count, the embattled governor only spoke for about 30 seconds and rushed off the stage without taking questions.

All that just just one day after news broke that one of Christie's former political appointees at the Port Authority was suggesting the governor knew about purposeful lane closures on the George Washington Bridge.
Allegations that have dogged his administration since they were first reported. Christie has repeatedly denied involvement.

So you could say the sampling of boos from the crowd at Times Square Saturday might indicate the governor's still got some work to do to convince his critics.

A year ago, Christie was hailed as a "can do" guy that wasn't afraid to cross party lines and jeopardize his political future to look after the citizens of NJ. A guy that a lot of people considered the number one pick for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination.

Now it's looking more and more like he's a petty backstabber who uses his political clout to get revenge on anyone that doesn't play pretty with him. The GOP will have his back, what choice do they have? Until he's indicted or resigns, he's their default golden child.

What a difference a year makes.

GARBAGE. Some of us understand the dynamics behind the election of Barrack Hussein Obama, who never distinguished himself in any leadership position prior to the "mentorship" of the late Senator Teddy Kennedy. Suddenly, this "guy" of the Chicago "East Side," was ramped up to "Christ Like," by a pastor of some church of Obama's twenty year patronage that railed at "whiteys." Michelle Obama publicly decried how "she never before felt an 'American';" duh? Student loans? Princeton? A cushy job afforded by now Valerie Jarett of the same notoriously corrupt political machine of Chicago provided Michelle some $300,000 a year for a "job" for which she never reported?

Governor Christy is far and above the scum institutionalized by our "media," the mindless and benign intellects on staff of the print, broadcast and national television media.

And where else should he have been booed? In Florida? Alabama? Arizona? He was booed by people who are paying attention in New York and New Jersey. What planet are you on, Mongo?

The bridge business is very serious, but there is so much more. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes. His future is looking grim. No, not that Grimm, his future is even more predictable. Bye-bye, Mike.

At the very least, he created a conducive environment for his staff to plan for this dangerous event. His staffers are not renegades or fools. His upper staffers carefully put this together. They believed based on the tenor of his style of governing that this would be seen as appropriate. And, we will learn if he put his stamp of approval on it too. What's sad is that he handled, or I should say, I believe he handled, Storm Sandy so well. His rough and tumble style of interacting got the best of him.

Storm Sandy? That was a Photo Op for Christie. Just what did he do to help those people ? He gave them a whole lot of big fat lip service. Obama took advantage at the same time as the two of them pranced together arm in arm with promises, promises, promises. The two, deserve each other.

If NJ is not going to get rid of him, stop dragging this out and let him get busy doing his job.
