An Albuquerque woman ran onto the field after a touchdown during the Pro Bowl -- but though the situation was ill-advised, she says her intentions weren't selfish.

Katrina Torres is an Albuquerque, New Mexico native who now lives in Hawaii.

Shortly after a touchdown during the Pro Bowl, Torres ran onto the field with a bikini, the flag of New Mexico, and the words 'I Did It 4 Gary' written on his back. (Here's a photo from her Instagram.)

Gary, Torres' cousin, was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in 2012. He's been in a wheelchair unable to speak ever since. Torres and her cousin had always dreamed of going to the Pro Bowl together, so she decide to 'do him proud and show that I loved him all the way from here.' Since he can't walk, she says she ran for him.

The 23-year-old was detained from police for over 30 minutes, but Deion Sanders (the coach of Team Sanders) came to her rescue, even offering to bail her out of jail. Luckily, it didn't come to that.

Still, Torres says that knowing she made her cousin smile was all that mattered. She would have been OK with any consequence.

Gary's family says he's making strides daily; he can now communicate by typing and using hand movements.
