Award Season 2014: The best sore losers from the past

Greatest Loser Reactions In Awards Show History
The country singer was up for Best Album at Sunday night's Grammys, and when she didn't win, her reaction spoke volumes. The clip circulating the web this week shows Swift seemingly celebrating after she thought Alicia Keys announced her record, and then recovering from the embarrassment with some friendly applause. While Swift's reaction is priceless, there are tons of other stars who have had similar mishaps in the past. Check out the clip above for memorable upsets from Faith Hill, James Earl Jones and more.

Why does anyone put any value in award shows? They are over-rated and biased as all the other award shows. Most often the best talent is overlooked for behind the scenes politics and BS. Not winning is probably a good thing, artists should just keep doing what they do and leave the awards for less talented people to worry about. If I were an artist I would not waste time and energy attending.

Wait, are you kidding me? Cate Blanchett FLIPPED OUT when Marion Cotillard won the Oscar that year because she was so happy for her. Not only did Cate know she was fifth out of five, go back and watch the clip. It's clearly evident what happens! Furthermore, Holly Hunter was jumping for joy when her costar in The Piano, Anna Paquin, beat her in the other instance. Literally, go watch these clips on Youtube. What a load of **** and absolutely misleading, manipulative journalism.

Thanks for the clarification. I really couldn't believe that either Cate or Holly would be so classless.

Maybe they should wear masks so the dopy media will not try to read into their expressions.

well, no Empire lasted forever. The XXth Century was American... now in the XXI with Caligubama we are declining. Simple!

some times you win some times you lose just have to take it the way it is.

FIRST OF ALL...Ms Blanchett's reaction was one of happiness for a friend and colleague, Ms. Hill's reaction was playful....she was JESTING, not being rude. Ms. Hunter was showing her support and genuine joy for Anna Paquin's win. AOL....always still scraping the bottom of the barrel, for sludge to sling and claim it's a "report" or "article". As for Swift herself? she is KNOWN to have that old and tired "Oh I WON??" look of surprise ready. She is in sore need of maturing, and her WEIRD, head flipping, angry performance Grammy night proves it.

It's ALL about the glorification of the likes of "Staying Up All Night To Get Lucky" - and other such young dissemination of immorality world-wide, don't we know ?....

Both of Taylor's dresses were gorgeous. But really, must they have her in front of the camera for every award show? We know she knows all the words to every song and dances along - yes she's a terrific audience participant. However, there are plenty of other pretty people to focus on.

Oh come on! That was a joke from Faith Hill. She was just putting on an act. It was meant to be funny. Are you really THAT dumb?

At least the non winner reactions were honest. It's so boring to see everyone behaving so stoic after they lose.
