Blizzard Files Case Against Hearthstone Copycat
Ahead of the game's launch for iPhone, iPad and Android devices - and right on the release of the game's PC open beta - Blizzard has begun legal action against a copycat Hearthstone game that could slow sales of the original, which is slated to come out sometime in the second half of this year.
Titled Legend of Crouching Dragon, the game first made an appearance on the iOS and Android app stores back in October last year. Blizzard and its Chinese partner NetEase are reportedly seeking $1.65 million in damages, and, presumably, a cease and desist for the game itself. [via MMO Culture]
