Shopping alert: Kate Middleton's $35 Zara necklace is back in stock!
UPDATE 5:30 pm: Welp. Looks like the necklace is once again sold out. Did you get one? Zara offers the option to sign up for e-mail alerts when a product is back in stock, so if you have your heart set on this sparkly beauty be sure to add your name!
Remember the ever-so-sparkly necklace Kate wore on the red carpet for the Royal Film Performance of Mandela: Walk to Freedom? At first sight, people everywhere were raving about Kate's "new jewels," trying to figure out when they'd been gifted to her, or how much they were worth (guilty!).
Not too long after the couple took to the red carpet, someone identified the necklace as one from Zara -- available for $35.90, no less! Cue everyone falling in love with the Duchess of Cambridge even more. Not only did Kate re-wear her stunning cream gown by French designer Roland Mouret, but she paired it with a necklace you and I can own as well. Kate has consistently shown off her thrifty side: mixing high and low designers as well as re-wearing her favorite dresses and coats.
Naturally, as soon as the necklace was identified it flew off the shelves -- but huge news: it's back in stock! You can get yours on Zara's website, but be quick! We don't expect it'll stay in stock for long. It's the "Kate Effect" in full force!
