Mr. President, Honorable Senators, and Members of Congress

I wish to make a statement regarding the Congress' recent decision to refuse the continuation of unemployment benefits.

I sincerely believe Congress is NOT being totally informed of the plight of the economy and the unemployed workers. Regarding the statement that the unemployed are being lazy and will not "Fight" for work is not exactly true!

The Pennsylvania State Commissioners are not providing the people with easy access to forms and knowledge of where the open jobs are. Also, the frachise's websites are now being linked to college prompts that will not allow you to fill out the job application. AND, now sometimes the job application will not go through unless you can provide 3 legitimate RECENT Employer phone numbers!!! THEN, most times we are asked to fill out lengthly application questions, and we are not allowed that much time on the computers!!!!

Maybe Congress should really investigate the State's Employment System and find out why we aren't being placed in a job within a week or two - it is Not for lack of our trying!

We are being CYBER-SABATOGED and no one in Congress is following this.

Respectfully and Patriotically Yours - And Willing and Able to Work,

Lynn Geesey

The limiting of responses on the huffington post is nothing but preventing dialogue not improving. You go on their now and all you get is liberal drival, applauded by liberal loons
There is no balnce at all and the fault is HP--drop them on AOL even though you own them or we will drop you

I can't comment because Huffpo now wants to link us to Facebook--not signed on to Facebook so wonder if I will still be able to comment.

Can't get in touch with Huffington Post--but just wondering what to do if you like to post but you aren't on Facebook and don't want to enroll on facebook? What's the point??? Anyone know? What do people do if they don't care to create an account with Facebook but would like to be able to comment on Huffpo?
