LeBron's incredible one-handed slam dunk

LeBron's One-Handed Slam
Basketball star LeBron James is known for his wild dunks and last night, against the Pelicans was no different. After Dwayne Wade passed him the ball, James dunked the ball with one hand, in mid-air and made it look easy.

Check out the video above to see what we're talking about!

That's it? I saw five more exciting plays in the Ohio State/Michigan State game last night.

We should get a lot more excited about the surgeon who sticks instruments into an eye and the patient see BETTER. Or, the internist who is awake in the hospital for 48 hours straight to make sure his patient survives some deadly disease. While it is great that LeBron has been blessed with a fine body, I believe his feats pale in comparison to those of everyday people who do not have the spotlight cast on them...perspective people.

I used to love to watch basketball when I was a team sport with skilled athletes (circa 1980's-1990's). It is nothing more than a circus sideshow now, playground ball where the rules are glossed over. "Professionals" in the NBA now could not compete in places like Europe, where they still abide by the rules. The decrease in the popularity of the NBA has coincided with the lack of adherence to the rules and the lack of civility and team play - it is coming to the NFL also - because Roger Goodell is a terrible commissioner

You are spot on!!! Sad and boring. Nothing like the 80's teams and early 90's teams.

@dredselw - a qb doesn't play as nearly hard as a basket ball player. if you put a football player vs a basketball player to run up and down a basketball court its obvious who would be lacking behind. to rap things up, to be running up and down a court for 30-45mnins and still perform at a high level is far more meaningful than a qb having a bunch of out of shape guys try to protect him while he's looking to throw a football, and most of the times the qb doesn't even have to run. Come back to reality. thats why basketball player are paid insanely

but hockey players can out perform all of them.

You guys don't consider the stamina necessary to play soccer then. In basketball there are time-outs,
breathers after a foul, and frequent substitutions. Only hockey can come close to soccer for the necessary stamina to be going full tilt MOST of the time; even hockey has line changes frequently, allowing the players
to get their wind. I would bet on a soccer player, even a mediocre one, to outlast a player on ANY other team sport. Baseball players may as well be retired, old men. Fottball players get a breather after each play

Lebron James is just amazing. What a talent.

What's amazing is when a QB avoids tacklers and throws a ball 50 yards and it's caught amongst three opponents who are trying to prevent it being caught! A dunk is nothing compared to this.

I agree dred The basketball players have amazing talent, but it is also instinct cause they are so good. Football QB has to think and read every play, then perform, a great athlete playing a chess game too

So where's the punchline? No better than any Dunk I've seen over and over and over and over and over, that I have to Subject myself to on SportsCenter every night during Basketball season! So LaBron knows how to Dunk, wow that's really showing me something I didn't know. If your in the NBA and your 6'5" and you can't Dunk, then you might want to go learn how to drive a Forklift!!
Sorry but Ill take Larry, Magic or Michael any day!!!

WOW. Finally someone who gets basketball, Im with you on that all the way. Tough making a dunk against a team that almost doesnt even exist on the floor. No defense , makes it tough! to dunk like that. If you want to watch a show, go to the movies or a circus, if you want to watch a basketball game, watch College basketball. The NBA should be called the NDS. No Defense show! League is weak and teams mostly all suck. Then take James and his schemed team, cause he cant win by himself or with non superstar players. Yeaah they should be good. Boring! ratings are down lower then ever and will get worse.
