Oh my, I was going to stay on topic and mention the Snow Festival in Sapporo, Japan (I attended while stationed in Japan in 1970s) but...hmmm looks like there are other agendas here; if there is any interest, here's the link:

Excuse me for being off topic, but this was the ONLY story on the revolving AOL news scroll that was actually FROM AOL: AOL: PLEASE STOP USING SO MUCH HUFFINGTON POST MATERIAL. They left many of us with such a bad taste in our mouths and click on these stories only to e led directly back there is a real slap in the face.

People have derided Fox News as for those radical conservatives that live in their own little world and then the Huffington Post provided us with the radical liberal version of that. They can no longer be considered a prudent news source and now cater to those radical liberals who live in THEIR own little bubble. Leave them to their bubble.

And wow, those ice sculptures are amazing. They look right out of the movie "Frozen"--but real.

I agree. I want more AOL articles. Have no use for Huff Po since they tried to get posters to provide them with our facebook accounts in order to post. No thanks. As for Harbin, it is even more magnificent at night, where all the sculptures are lit in all colors of the rainbow. Absolutely beautiful and a testament to the talent of the artists, for sure.

It looks like they have too much time on their hands due to the large number of American jobs that have been taken away from American workers.

It would be really nice if some things could have value in our nation instrad of having to make a financial profit for who creates the activity.

Most stuff made in China is of very poor quality. I'm sure that these ice sculptures will not stand the test of time.
