If blockbuster management had got hold of Netflix for 50M it would now be worth $50

I watch all my movies and shows thru movie4k.to. Its free and they have thousands of movies. Plus Reed...you stole my idea for making your own series several years ago. You owe me $56 Million.

I am confused about definition of science fiction on netflix. I have it and my favorite movies are syfi, most of netflix syfi is not remotely related! Of all the movies out there most on nf are not. In all fairness tho, any site that say syfi, do the same! in case you are not sure things like aliens, robots, etc. thank you AF

I'd say Netflix has stepped up their game over the years. The only drawback is that they are slow to get current releases to their list. Even some older movies are not as yet available.

Don't blame Netflix for the slow release of current movies, blame the studios. Here's an example: I discovered HBO's Game of Thrones late in the game and now I'm hooked. Fortunately, I've been able to rent Seasons 1 and 2 from Netflix, currently on Season 3, but I was reading the customer reviews and noticed a lot of people were very upset because Season 4 isn't available yet, even though it finished airing on HBO weeks ago. I decided to call Netflix and ask why the delay, and was told that HBO won't release it to them until Season 5 starts airing in March 2015. Wow, that's a long time, but fortunately I found Season 4 in my cable company's HBO On Demand section. If I can't wait to see a new release, then I'll rent it from Redbox who has an agreement with some studios to get new movies three weeks in advance of anybody else, but I still think Netflix has the best selection of movies, especially TV series and foreign films that Redbox simply doesn't have the space for.

Why don't they prepare more good movies for streaming?

Netflix never has any of the latest movies. When you click on them in the browse screen they are always labeled as save and once they go in that save file on Netflix they are in a black hole and you never hear of them again. I have over 200 movies that are in the saved category and very very few have ever came out of there. it is like they are purposely trying to get rid of mailing out their movies. This has been going on for a very long time and when you contact them about it they give you a song and dance about everything but why the movies are not available. It is a wonder they still have customers that put up with this .

I don't believe what you said. I'd say you have no patience and like to whine. Of course you have to wait for new movies. I've subscribed to Netflix for years and not had the problems you claim you've had.

I think she means Discs. We've been on a list for Years with titles on discs! Picket Fences had ONE season on it and no others ever became available. All the seasons after 3 for Little People, Big World have been in my Que list for years! I could go on and on and I agree that is a big problem, but I like Netflix anyway and with our new second Roku with it, it's great! There's nothing as easy or better than them and you can catch up and start all kinds of series from TV. I love the ease and simplicity of it and they do have great titles from all ages.

Oh, and for all those complaining about the movie sections? That's why I have a joint instant/DVD plan. I can watch a TON of shows through instant, but I'm more than willing to wait for a movie because there is always Redbox with NEWER current movies. Sure it may get frustrating when you're watching, let's say...Bones, and you finished season 7 knowing the 8th just finished. It takes time for them to get stuff like that up [which is just an example, as season 8 IS up and running lol] Anyways...

Did you also know that Netflix employees/tech reps are NOT allowed to EVER tell a customer that most of the technical problems you have with your service is THEIR fault, because they cannot be bothered with servicing their own equipment on a regular basis!!!!! Just like the utility companies now, they wait until something "major" happens, and then have to deal with it on an even larger scale, instead of using proactive maintenance.

Agree.....and this is a bummer because I don't always have time to wait on the phone for assistance; and then to go thru the reset process.....that does not work!
