100-year-old Nordstrom employee celebrates birthday

A California Nordstrom store hosted a birthday bash in honor of 100-year-old Ted DiNunzio, who has greeted customers at the store for 14 years.

'Ted has become a favorite of both customers and employees,' Nordstrom spokesman John Bailey said.

'Faith and positive attitude, always smile and be happy, that's the secret,' DiNunzio said during the festivities. 'I'm never serious, I always say hello to everybody, even when I'm out in the street.'

Nearly 1,000 cupcakes were purchased for the bash, some of which were used to write out '100.' Tons of his devoted customers came out for the big moment.
