Cavaliers suspend center Andrew Bynum

Bulls Cavaliers Basketball
CLEVELAND (AP) - Cavaliers center Andrew Bynum has been suspended indefinitely from the team for detrimental conduct and banned from all team activities.

Bynum, who signed a two-year, $12 million contract with the Cavs this summer, did not travel with the team to Boston for Saturday's game. It's possible that Bynum has played his final game with the Cavs.

Earlier this season, Bynum talked about retirement and said his numerous knee problems have been a challenge to overcome. The 7-footer has shown flashes of being a productive player, but has been too inconsistent and doesn't seem to have any passion to play. He missed all 11 shots from the field in a game this week against Detroit.

The Cavs only guaranteed Bynum $6 million on his deal, and they can clear more salary cap space if he is traded or released by Jan. 7.

So poor Bynum played all this time being born with no knee cartilage, through major pain and the Cavs decide they don't want him anymore and defame his character with no explanation? No wonder no one wants to play for the Cavs, shame on you, give us an HONEST REASON.

Being on the Cavs would make any player lose passion for the game. They can't draft and they have a terrible coach as well a bunch of mopey malcontents who don't care if they win or lose. Getting out of Cleveland may just be the best thing for Bynum.

Funny how before this the media was saying how LeBron might come back with Bynum there.

Owner and coach never were the brightest bulbs in the league. Could bynum be another Larry Hughes project by brown?

Uhh he never was with the Nets. Check your records. Although I've never been a big Bynum fan due to his lack of passion to play, he wasn't "horrible" in LA. As a matter of fact there was a 20-game stretch when Bynum was arguably the best center in the league before he suffered one of his numerous injuries. When Bynum was healthy he was easily a top 5 center in the league.

76ers last year, not Nets, and, yes, did not play a game but received full salary.

if you have to look up 10 years from now to order your fries, don't ask for an autograph - it will be worth nothing.
