Is this a subject that needs to constantly occupied the minds of humanity, a journalist surely can find issues that can nourish the spirit of humanity.GO FIND A LIFE. This constant regurgitation can only serve to tarnish the sentiments of humans against the institution of marriage. Enough, let the new year inspire all of you to report on issues that improve the spirit, hope and trust in human affairs.

While I tend to agree with you regarding your opinion that there must be more interesting subject matter to write about, there is some good to come from showing the absurdly out of control settlements that have been handed down. I would hope that the courts are pressured into being more reasonable and stop holding guys upside down just because a marriage ends for whatever reason. It is obvious that these settlements are absurdly large especially where the marriage is a short one. The dollar amounts are structured so that the attorneys get huge paychecks not so that fair and equitable settlements are reached. Lawyers are the problem here more than anything.

i agree with you 100% and then some. I lost my husband October 2010 and it seems like yesterday. after 15 years of marriage we had our ups and downs. however we struck it out until the end. i would not have trade it for nothing in this whole wide world. if i had to do it all over again i would do it in a heart beat. not only was my husband a GREAT man he was my hero.
