Cassadee Pope isn't technically a breakthrough artist. She was originally in Hey Monday. We've heard her before. I only know a few of these anyways. Probably because I actually listen to real music. Most of this is hip hop/electronic trash that is extremely repetitive and takes no talent.

how do you do a cover on youtube ? I thought covers were a minor band doing the introductory songs for a major band. Doing a cover on youtube seems like a lost cause.

there are many of these artist that i don't know but i think they all have a story behind them. Ariana came out from Nicklodeon and "Victorious" made her more famous, the Bastille began making music in 2010 when the lead singer Dan Smith decided to form a band instead of singing alone, the Imagine Dragons started in 2008 and they have many songs before "Demons",they just got more famous in 2012 and then in 2014. then, here we come to the Black Veil Brides. my idols. well,Andy, the lead singer, started writing his own songs and singing (in school) when he was 14,then day by day his passion for music became bigger and in 2006 he and some friends became the band "Biersack" which is Andy's surname, then in 2007 the name changed into "Black Veil Brides" and little by little the members changed too and the band started making EPs,they now have 3 albums and are a very popular alternative rock and metal band.
i don't know about the others but i'm sure they all have a story to tell,Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have many songs before "Trift Shop" for example

Ariana Grande is probably the most talented and admired stars on Nickelodeon, or anywhere. I see her on Victorious and Sam & Cat and the teen nick top ten. She is the best. Talented, cute, and pretty all wrapped into a wonderful package for all to enjoy.

Black Veil Brides have been around since 2006.... that is damned far from new. But at least they are finally getting the recognition they deserve!

tbh i think people like BVB will never make it big as the market for rock music has sadly moved on into this dub-step/Rock stuff any how lets be honest your NEVER EVER going to get another rock song that is remembered like the greats such as Run to the hills, Bat out of hell Bohemian rapserdy ( :S sorry for spelling lol) e.c.t and i could go on but not going to

Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman didn't "come outta nowhere" either, she stared in Disney's "Shake It Up" that started in 2010. N we all know Disney doesn't accept actors/actresses that can't act as well as sing,n n dance.

Why are Zedd and Baauer on here? Krewella DID basically show up out of nowhere.
And Black Veil Brides were around back when scene kids were still unseen kids.
