The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, now commonly referred to as Obamacare, continues to be a hotly debated topic among both consumers and investors. As the implementation of the law through the health-insurance exchanges continues, it can be hard to predict what the long-term impact of the ACA will be on specific stocks in the health-insurance and hospital industries. However, pharmacy benefit managers, or PBMs, such as Express Scripts and Catamaran  are poised to benefit from the law.
