This year, critics and fans alike are buzzing about the highly-anticipated crime drama "American Hustle," set to hit theaters December 13th and nationwide December 20th. With an A-list cast and a critically acclaimed director, David O. Russell, the film is one of the most talked about movies, and it hasn't even hit the big screen.

"American Hustle" tells the wild story of brilliant con man Irving Rosenfeld, played by Christian Bale, and his intelligent, seductive partner Sydney Prosser, played by Amy Adams.

Set in a flamboyant 1970s-era New York and New Jersey, Irving and Syd get caught up in an FBI scheme to take down a string of politicians, led by a volatile federal agent, Richie DiMaso, played by Bradley Cooper. Using a passionate and too-trusting local mayor, Carmine Polito, as their pawn, Irving, Syd, and Richie find themselves caught up in the dangerous, alluring world of Jersey power brokers and mafia men, with Robert De Niro making a quick, but memorable cameo as one of Meyer Lansky's right-hand guys. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence, has already picked up one award for Best Supporting Actress from the The New York Film Critics Circle for her role as Rosalyn Rosenfeld, Irv's neglected wife whose erratic behavior may just unravel the entire operation.

Out in select theaters this Friday and everywhere December 20th, "American Hustle" is more than just a standard crime drama – it's a character story about people trying to reinvent themselves and get ahead in life. The scandal, intrigue, and romance along the way are all just part of the fun.

Many are already predicting countless nominations for the film and its A-list actors including Lawrence and Cooper. With all the acclaim building, the actors sat down to discuss the film and working with such an influential director. Check out the video below to see what they had to say at the New York film junket of "American Hustle."

What's with the braless boobs showing? Nobody wore dresses like that in the 70s--still don't!

Seventies were great, we could afford cars from the late 60 s, we had lots of freedom to try and explore, music was great. It was a great time to be teen and young adult. Loved it and wouldn't trade it for anything .

This movie can't be of the 70's era as their too much boob being shown on the hot chick. In general, people did not dress that way. this movie is way off course.

Are you kidding? That was the era that all the bras had been burned and they were running around naked at Woodstock. There were plenty of boobs hanging out. I guess it depended on where you lived. Probably not so much in Poughkeepsie but down here in Fort Lauderdale, ummm, yessss there were ... not that I ever looked because I had a girlfriend.

And the '70's came right after Woodstock, DUH ! What do you think started the bra less women running around? Low cut , Jumpsuits that Amy is wearing from Studio 54 in the 70's with a lot more low cut dresses and boobs everywhere.

I am deaf. AOL management should watch their videos without sound to see how it looks to a deaf person. You need get captions or transcripts so deaf people such as myself can "hear."

The clothes, the hair, the music. I love the 70's! This film reminds me of some other iconic movies that took place in the 70's. Casino, Boogie Nights, and Saturday Night Fever were all excellent movies that got the feel of the 70's down to a T. I only hope that American Hustle can live up to those standards, and that Jennifer Lawrence can portray the "erratic neglected wife " as well as Sharon Stone did in Casino. Her performance was classic!
