In Memoriam: Famous Faces We Lost in 2013

As the year comes to an end, we can't help but think back to all the wonderful, talented and inspiring people who passed away over the year. Actors, singers, writers, leaders -- all of these people made a big impact in their fields. These are just a few of the big names we said goodbye to in 2013.

One of the most oirginal and authentic singing voices in country music, but his influence stretched way beyond that genre and into some serious rock-n-roll circles. Why? Because The Possum made you believe that he was passionate about every word and every note that came out of him. The man could flat out sing! I trust and pray he didn't pull a no-show in heaven. RIP, George.

Sad to see so many talented people leave us. You forgot a big star and a bigger person---Stan "The Man" Musial. Stan was a great ball player and a true gentleman.

"Hello Darlin'' is my icon song for remembering George Jones and "He said Goodbye to her today" was right behind it. None like him before him or after, never will be -- hope to see him and his guitar.

Read the title. It is famous people we lost, not hero's we lost. If you want to compile a list of police, fire fighters, and soldiers feel free to do so.

The Huffington Post requiring a Facebook account is BOGUS. I will never have one. They just want to return to an all lib participation where they can pet each other. It just galled them when AOL bought HP and conservatives encroached into lib territory and they have been trying to get rid of conservatives ever since. AOL, you need to end your association with HP.

At least I can still comment here.

We all need to remember " We are only here on earth on borrowed time" we are God Children and we each will go home in his time. God bless you all and the family and friends left behind.
