Cracker Barrel's first-quarter profit rose 17%, but shares were down after the restaurant lowered guidance. Shares of Tiffany were up on the news that third-quarter profits rose 50%. Twitter moved upward slightly today, with the company's new head of retail advertising hoping to lure more advertisers this holiday season. And finally, Barnes & Noble took a tumble after second-quarter revenue fell 8%, with the company's digital book division down 30%.
