One simple move by salesforce.com could have more chief information officers embracing cloud computing, Fool contributor Tim Beyers says in the following video.

What's behind the shift? A Salesforce program called Private App Exchange. Clients get access to their own "store" of apps for extending their Salesforce implementation. CIOs also get control over who's allowed to download which plug-ins, and what range of capabilities they're entitled to. That's a huge win for IT managers who have stuck with enterprise software to maintain fine-grained control over their networks, Tim says.

Do you agree? Is your organization buying more Salesforce capabilities, or sticking with install-and-manage enterprise software? Please watch the video to get Tim's full take, and then leave a comment to let us know where you stand.
