Cantel Medical Hikes Dividend 22%

Medical device manufacturer Cantel Medical  announced yesterday its semiannual dividend of $0.045 per share, a 22% increase to last quarter's $0.037-per-share payout to investors.

Cantel Medical Chairman Charles M. Diker said: "We are pleased to announce the dividend increase, which will raise our annual dividend payment from $0.074 to $0.09 per share. The increase demonstrates Cantel's strong financial position and our confidence in Cantel's future performance."

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Jan. 31, 2014, to holders of record as of the close of business on Jan. 17. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.09-per-share annual dividend, yielding 0.3% based on the closing price yesterday of Cantel Medical's stock.
