This six-bedroom home is the perfect ski chalet.
The "Utah rustic" home spans 8,730 sq. ft. with an entertainer's kitchen. The Romneys own a home in La Jolla, Calif., a townhouse in Belmont, Mass. and a property in Wolfeboro, N.H.
The Romney family bought their previous Park City house in 1995, The Park Record reports. "Romney remains popular in Park City and surrounding Summit County from his days leading the 2002 Winter Olympics, when upward of half of the events were held in the Park City area," the newspaper reports.
The home has "hewn logs and stone details throughout," Zillow reports.
The home was designed by local architect Fred Babcock and featured in Architectural Digest magazine for his use of whole logs.
A warranty deed logged on Sept. 9 shows the house was conveyed to Deer Valley SR, LLC, The Park Record reported in early Oct. 2013.
"Located on the Success Ski Trail, the home is truly a ski-out residence," Zillow reports. And the home is "centered around an enormous 2-story great room with massive fireplace."
Rustic bunk beds are shown, offering plenty of room for Romney's five sons.
