Your 7-minute post-workout beauty routine
Post-workout, count to five as you splash freezing-cold water on your face and over wrists, says Jeannette Graf, M.D., a derm in NYC. It will cool you—and redness—down.

Spot-clean your hair with a shampoo and conditioner in one (like Head & Shoulders Damage Rescue, $5). Rub in just where you need it most—greasy roots—then wet slightly so that the suds drip down strands.
Cleanse with a 2-in-1 body wash. An oil-based formula (like Softsoap Coconut Island Quench, $5) is hydrating, so unless you have very dry skin, you can skip body moisturizer after your shower. Now step under the stream to fully rinse your hair and body at the same time.
Style in the stall. Turn the faucet off, squeeze excess water out of your hair, then comb through your go-to styling product with your fingers. The residual shower steam helps it penetrate—more time to tame your hair!

Still perspiring after your shower? Apply deodorant to pits, between boobs ... basically anywhere you have sweat glands.
Hide the evidence. "A sheer wash of foundation or a BB or CC cream instantly neutralizes redness," says Sonia Kashuk, a makeup artist in NYC. Apply with a slightly damp sponge to further cool your skin.
Avoid eye makeup meltdown. Mascara (even waterproof, which takes awhile to dry) can smudge the second lashes touch warm, sweaty skin, and powder shadows clump. The exception: a waterproof eyeliner marker (like Stila Stay All Day, $20). Don't try to master the cat eye; just dot liner along upper lashes for definition. You can swipe on mascara when you're back at your desk.
Pat lip balm on lips and cheeks. The creamy formula will blend easily. Avoid reds (you're plenty rosy already). Perfect: a carnation pink, like Fresh Sugar Petal Tinted Lip Treatment, $23.
