Clarcor Hikes Dividend 26%

Industrial filtration products manufacturer Clarcor announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.17 per share, a 26% increase in the payout to investors made last quarter of $0.135 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on October 18 to holders of record at the close of business on October 11. The filtration products maker has raised the quarterly payout every year since 1983 while a dividend has been paid every year since 1920.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.68-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.2% based on the closing price today of Clarcor's stock.
