Deutsche Bank Strengthens Fund Services Sales Team in the Americas

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Deutsche Bank today announced it hired Jason Sheller as the Head of Sales for Fund Services in the Americas, within its Global Transaction Banking division.

Sheller, who has joined as a Director, is based in New York and reports to Simon Behan, Global Head of Fund Services Sales. In his new role, he leads Deutsche Bank's Fund Services sales efforts to hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds. In addition, he also oversees traditional fund services sales in Latin America.

Sheller joined Deutsche Bank with over 20 years of experience in sales, primarily in the alternative fund services space. He most recently served as an Executive Director in Private Equity Services Sales at JP Morgan.

Fund Services offers administrative, custodial and banking services to hedge funds, private equity-real estate funds, fund of funds, ETFs, UCITS, and other alternative investment vehicles, from start-up through growth to maturity.

"Our Fund Services business has been a significant growth engine for Deutsche Bank's Global Transaction Banking division," Behan said. "As the alternative fund sector continues to develop, Jason's depth of experience with these types of clients will be an invaluable asset as we further enhance our fund services business in the region."
