Allied World to Pay Quarterly Dividend

ZUG, Switzerland--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, AG (NYS: AWH) today announced that it has approved a quarterly dividend equal to $0.50 per share payable on October 3, 2013 to shareholders of record on September 24, 2013. The company's transfer agent will make dividend payments in United States dollars.

The amount of the payment in Swiss francs (CHF) will be based on the USD/CHF exchange rate as published by The Wall Street Journal on September 10, 2013. This is the second of four installments equal to $0.50 per share for dividends that were approved by the company's shareholders at the Allied World 2013 Annual Shareholder Meeting held on May 2, 2013. The remaining two installments are expected to be paid in January 2014 and April 2014.
