OMVS Scouts Intermodal Freight Targets

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- On the Move Systems Corp. (OTCBB: OMVS) announced today that the company is scouting promising intermodal freight transport companies for potential partnership and acquisition as it works to build an innovative new online hub for travel and transportation customers.

Intermodal freight transport involves moving cargo in an intermodal shipping container or vehicle using multiple modes of transportation, such as rail, ship and truck. By eliminating cargo handling at each stop, intermodal transport can provide faster, more secure service.

OMVS is working to revolutionize the way intermodal transport services are bought and sold by developing a new online platform that applies the same business model used by companies such as Expedia, Travelocity and more to travel and transportation options not offered by its larger competitors.

Acquiring or partnering with an established, successful intermodal freight transporter would represent a major step forward for OMVS in achieving its goals. The company is already in talks with an air charter service to add to its stable of travel providers.

By offering easy, round-the-clock access to niche service providers, OMVS plans to market new technology solutions that will allow it to compete in the online transportation market alongside Priceline.com (NAS: PCLN) , TripAdvisor.com (NAS: TRIP) and Expedia.com (NAS: EXPE) .
