AeroVironment's Drones are Heading for a New Continent

The latest in drone and robotics technology was on display recently at the world's largest unmanned systems exhibition in Washington, D.C. California-based AeroVironment , which makes unmanned aircraft systems, displayed several of its drones.

Motley Fool analysts Rex Moore and Blake Bos were at the conference, and chatted with AeroVironment's Dave Heidel. In this installment of a multi-part series, Dave talks about the company's first-of-its-kind permit to fly in restricted Arctic airspace, and a $13.8 million order from the U.S. Army.
