Revealed: Kate Middleton's first appearance scheduled since giving birth
Immediately after giving birth to their first child, Kate Middleton and Prince William whisked their baby boy off to the Middleton family home in Berkshire. They spent the first two weeks with the comfort of family surrounding them, away from the hustle and bustle of London. Once William's paternity leave had ended he returned to work as a rescue helicopter pilot in Anglesey, the island off the coast of Wales where the couple happily resided over the past few years.
This week, Kate and baby George followed William to Anglesey, with Carole Middleton at their side. Once she made sure that Kate was settled, Carole returned home on the 15th. The Duke and Duchess will stay in Wales for another few weeks until William's RAF assignment ends, and they'll then move to Kensington Palace.
So now you're asking -- when will we see them? Will we see photos of the baby soon? Well good news! A Kensington Palace spokesman has confirmed that Kate's first official appearance will be on September 12, less than two months after giving birth to Prince George. She and Wills will attend a charity dinner to benefit the Tusk Trust, a cause dedicated to conservation in Africa and close to William's heart.
All eyes will be on the Duchess to see what she's wearing, how she's feeling and how she's handling motherhood. We've heard that grandmother Carole may babysit for the evening! We can't wait to see the new parents out together, and we're sure a lovely evening out will be just what the doctor ordered.
