It's widely reported that long, straight hair -- whether blonde, brunette or otherwise -- is seen as the sexiest and most affluent style. It is associated with glamour and is seen on everyone from Kim Kardashian to the Duchess of Cambridge.
Medium length hair suggests that you are intelligent and good-natured, and short lengths are the most debated. The Daily Mail says that short hair portrays masculinity, as long, glossy hair -- which suggests youth and fertility -- has been popular for so long, while another study reports that a short cut reveals an outgoing and confident woman.
Those willing to experiment with bold, bright colors are sending a message that they are quirky, fun and confident. As for a deeper dive into what people glean from your hair color, well, that's a whole 'nother story. One thing worth mentioning, however, is that since so many women are dying their hair blonde in older ago, the color is no longer as widely regarded as youthful.
When it comes to bangs, side-swept are seen as the most basic, classic look. They are professional and suggest a motivated, career-oriented person, while still being playful and youthful.
