PH Glatfelter Beats on Both Top and Bottom Lines

EPS came in at $0.12. The three earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $0.07 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.12 were the same as the prior-year quarter. GAAP EPS of $0.02 for Q2 were 94% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.31 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 9.6%, 100 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 1.5%, 130 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 0.2%, 330 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $470.2 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.59.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $1.76 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.69.
