Rollins Keeps Dividend Steady
Pest control service provider Rollins announced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.09 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past two quarters after raising the payout 12.5% from $0.08 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Sept. 10 to the holders of record at the close of business on Aug. 9. The owner of pest control services such as Orkin and Western Pest Services has made quarterly payouts to investors since 2000. It paid a special dividend of $0.12 per share last December.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.36-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.4% based on the closing price today of Rollins' stock.
