Bank of Wolcott Enhances Technology Foundation
Through Partnership with CSI

PADUCAH, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- In an effort to address the bank's growing need for enhanced technology capabilities, Wolcott, Ind.-based Bank of Wolcott has selectedComputer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of end-to-end technology solutions that empower financial institutions to remain competitive, compliant and profitable, to provide both a new core platform and other technology solutions to support the institution's specific operational goals. Bank of Wolcott, a former CSI core banking customer, chose CSI's NuPoint® core solution to provide cloud-based technology capabilities and further improve operational efficiencies within its three banking branches.

While CSI's advanced solution offerings played a key role in the bank's decision to work with the technology provider, Bank of Wolcott executives point to CSI's stance as a truly invested business partner as the primary factor behind their final decision.

"Prior to signing with CSI, we were becoming disenchanted with the service and support of our existing core provider. Our core processing partner is the biggest relationship we have to make us successful, so we needed to seek out an organization that could support our technology needs and also form a relationship with our institution," said Jeremy Siegle, chief financial officer for Bank of Wolcott. "CSI's friendly and knowledgeable support staff's dedication to addressing our needs in a timely manner put them head and shoulders above all other technology providers we considered, making them the ideal partner to work with."

Bank of Wolcott will implement CSI's NuPoint solution, a comprehensive, customizable core banking platform that supports numerous fully integrated solutions. By leveraging CSI's infrastructure, resources and expertise, the bank will eliminate the need for expensive hardware and software investments for in-house systems. NuPoint also enables banks to establish customized views of information for each user at their individual workstations.

"While introducing a new core solution will mean changes for both our organization and our customers, CSI has already more than proven itself as a true hand-in-hand partner willing to help us navigate the conversion process," said Kevin Bender, president of Bank of Wolcott. "Having worked with CSI many years ago, I am highly confident that our satisfaction with the company's solutions and support staff will only continue to increase as we further our relationship and work to strengthen our institution together."

In conjunction with implementing the NuPoint core banking system, Bank of Wolcott also has selected additional CSI products to further improve operational efficiency, including:

  • CSI Secure Connect portal solution simplifies the way data is accessed, shared and utilized across all levels of the organization, enabling financial institutions to enhance corporate communications with their board of directors, employees and other such specialized groups as loan committees; and
  • CSI's WatchDOG Elite provides an automated watch list screening solution that helps financial institutions streamline compliance with the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and other U.S. and international agency watch lists.

"For nearly 50 years, CSI has remained highly successful by maintaining a deep focus on providing financial institutions, like Bank of Wolcott, with exceptional service and support to match our industry-leading technology solutions," said Steve Powless, chief executive officer of CSI. "As we welcome Bank of Wolcott back to CSI as our newest partner, we remain fully dedicated to providing them with the ideal mix of technology and service they demand and look forward to building a long-lasting relationship."
