Several chefs from the new season of "Top Chef Masters," including Franklin Becker, Richard Sandoval and Sang Yoon, among others, recreated dishes featured in Episode One. Chef Jennifer Jasinski prepared orange and ginger caramelized skirt steak with a roasted mushroom fregola salad, while Chef David Burke surprised guests with "angry" "shrimp atop smoky white bean hummus.

Tickets for this exclusive event went on sale to the public June 26, and sold out in less than four hours. Chase Sapphire cardholders could purchase or redeem Chase Ultimate RewardsSM points to attend the event. Chase Sapphire Preferred's $25,000 donation to City Harvest was more than double the proceeds of all tickets sold to the event.

"We are thrilled to offer this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for cardholders to celebrate their passion for food and experience a never before seen look at Top Chef Masters," said Jeff Bedard, marketing director, Chase Sapphire Preferred. "This event was about continually delivering meaningful experiential rewards to our cardholders and giving back to the community by providing a $25,000 donation to City Harvest to help hungry New Yorkers."

Chase Sapphire cardholders were offered a unique VIP experience that included early entrance to the event, to meet "Top Chef Masters" critics and contestants, and received a behind-the-scenes tour of a recreated "Top Chef Masters" kitchen. Cardholders also enjoyed an exclusive sneak peek of the elimination challenge in Episode One.

As a full-series partner of "Top Chef Masters," Chase Sapphire Preferred is also sponsoring other activities to engage fans, including an on-air vignette on Chicago restaurants with celebrity chef Art Smith, as well as an interactive map featuring restaurants throughout the country that are owned or helmed by "Top Chef Masters" contestants. Dining enthusiasts can now join in on the action and experience exclusive access to "Top Chef Masters" season 5 on and offline throughout the season, following the show's premiere on Bravo on Wednesday, July 24 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
