A Day at the Beach With Graceland's Vanessa Ferlito
We caught up with Vanessa Ferlito from USA's new series Graceland for an inside scoop on the actress's recent beach escape to Costa Rica.

Your beach stay in 2 words: Rest. Relax.
What beach did you visit? The beach in Santa Teressa, Costa Rica.
Who went with you? My son
Where did you stay? We rented a villa on the beach.
What's your must-do thing in this beach area? Oceanfront morning meditation and yoga.
You'd never go to the beach without packing: Food, sunblock and plenty of beach toys.
What's your beach soundtrack? A compilation/playlist of different artists: sometimes the band The xx, and sometime Jay-Z, depends on the mood.
You'd be crazy to leave here without eating the: Fresh-caught seafood and the amazing fruit.
Your Beach Day:
8 a.m.: Wake-up, grab a smoothie and make our way to the beach.
11 a.m.: Take a swim in the ocean, build a few sand castles, listen to some music and enjoy the scenery.
1 p.m.: Have some lunch, go back to the villa for a little siesta.
2:30 p.m.: Take out the surf board with my son as he searches under rocks for the "blue crabs" that always try to attack us.
6 p.m.: Shake the sand out and go back to the villa to get ready for a nice dinner and a night on the town to check out the local hotspots.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how badly do you want to go back to this beach? (1 = "Yuck, no thanks!" 10 = "Already have the next trip booked!"): 10 – the beaches here are some of the most raw and beautiful scenery.
Vanessa Ferlito stars in USA's television drama Graceland, which airs on Thursdays at 10 pm EST. The show features a team of undercover law enforcement agents who live together in a house for covert operatives.
